Easy Battery and Sensor Replacement - The gas detector runs on a single CR2 camera battery. This battery is sinple to install and is commercially available. The installed battery life is approximately 9,000 hrs (> 1 year). The sensors simply plug in to the internal circuit board, making replacement a snap.

Distinctive Alarm System - The triple-alarm system featuring two bright flashing LED's, a piercing audible alarm, and a vibrating alarm to ensure that no alarm condition goes unnoticed. Event recorder stores 50 latest events automatically in instrument memory.

True single-button operation provides the user with a clear path to any function. Another feature of the Altair gas detector designed for ease-of-use is the built-in gas delivery adapter; no easy-to-misplace accessories are needed to conduct gas response tests, eliminating any hidden replacement costs.

Durability - The extra-thick rubberized housing is designed to withstand accidental drops and provides resistance to water ingress. Metal screw inserts offer stability over the gas detector's lifetime. The MSA Altair Pro Single-Gas Detector is also highly water and dust resistant, and tested to IP67.

A: All packages are sent via UPS ground unless other wise noted by the buyer.

Q: What are the specifications for returning Goods?

A: Goods ordered in error, must be returned within 30 days of receipt, at customer’s expense and are subject to a 15% restocking charge. All goods must be new and in unopened original packaging. Goods shipped in error may be returned within 10 days for full credit. All returns must be accompanied by a returns good authorization provided when calling 724-239-3999. Special orders and non-stock items are subject to Mfg return policy, etc. Please note that sales are Final on all swine flu protection items. A: Some of our non-stock items ship directly from manufacturers or different warehouse locations.
