Powered Air Purifying Respirators Systems or PAPR Systems- as they are commonly referred to- utilize an efficient motor driven system to pull ambient air through a cartridge element. After the air is passed through cartridge, cleaned air flows into the user's face piece, where it is later expelled through an exhalation valve. Common applications include protection from biological, radiological and chemical agents.
